My sincere condolences to each member of Darlene's family. I first met Darlene when we were preteens as her Mom and Dad hosted a prayer meeting in their home in the mid 1950's. Later we were classmates and friends at Bel Air High School. I always found Darlene true to her word and her religious convictions. In later years when we would talk occasionally she would tell me about her children and how much she loved them. She shared that she wanted the very best for them and that Jesus would be the LORD of their life. Darlene is no longer in pain but is rejoicing with all those who went on before her. Picture her in the arms of her dear Savior when times are hard and you miss her so much. There is a poem I especially like and I will post it in another entry. May the bless and comfort each of you.
