Summer 1952, A baby is in a Playpen sleeping. A kid comes over with a stick and starts making noise and wakes the baby. The mother comes out and throws a shoe at the kid. The kid runs home crying and tells his mother that the lady across the alley threw a shoe at him. The kids Mother storms across the alley to confront the woman who threw the shoe at her kid! 10 minutes later the 2 women were having a cup of coffee. And my Mother and Babe became the best of friends from that moment on. I know, I saw the whole thing happen, I was the baby!
