My dear husband, I miss you so much, I can't even begin to tell of the loneliness I feel & how much I miss all the little things we did and just took for granted You fought so hard to live & were so worried about leaving me, but even though I miss you terribly, I'll be ok. I have a lot of support from friends & family but most of all, I have the assurance that I'll see you again when the good Lord calls me home. RIP darling
I will sure miss my Uno parter. I wish I'd appreciated him more as a kid growing up. I remember waking up to some noise in the middle of the night, and I thought it was somebody breaking in the kitchen. Turns out it was the LOUD coffee pot set to come on @ 4:30 for him. He woke up every morning @ 4:30 to go to work long hours to keep the lights on, and food on the table. I'll always remember where I got my love for roller coasters. I was a terrified 12 year old boy at Six Flags, and he influenced me to get on. I was flipping out when the coaster was being dragged up the ramp, then down it went (fast) I was trying to scream but couldn't, and he was over there next to me laughing his head off. By the second upside down loop, I was no longer terrified, but I was hooked! So many days sitting around the house watching all the Rocky movies on VHS. I could go on and on with the little things that now seem so special. John 11:25-26

We were blessed to have you as part of our family. You will be dearly missed especially at our dinners, but you will always be remembered and loved. I know that your new home is an awesome place and you are with our
family that is already there. Tell everyone hello, especially mom and we will be there when God calls us home. Absent from the body is to present with our Lord. I wish you could tell us how glorious that is, but I guess
we will have to find that out for ourselves. I wish you could have seen your service, you would have been so proud. It was done so beautiful. Well I'll say goodbye for now, make sure you take time to say hello to all our loved ones. Love you!

How very sad it was to hear of Doug’s death. He was a wonderful person and a joy to know. No one can truly know what you are experiencing in this time of loss and words cannot heal the pain of losing someone so dear. Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in our thoughts and prayers. Please accept our deepest heartfelt sympathy. May you find peace and comfort in God's love to help you get through this very difficult time. Continue to keep God close because He will see you through it all.
