Condolence From: Bill Scarborough
Condolence: What a wonderful Lady ! I have found memories of her as a child as she tried to keep me in line with the boys at the farm. She was a special friend to my mother who enjoyed every minute she spent with Mrs. Baugus.

Condolence: I remember Mrs. Baugus and I collecting eggs in the hen house. They kept pecking at me, She would laugh and tell me to reach under them and push them off the nest and then just snatch the eggs quickly. I remember after working the farm in the garden and baling the hay, milking etc. there would always be a huge hot meal three times a day, always plentiful and delicious.

Condolence: I have many many childhood memories of Ms.Baugus, and visiting their farm in PA. I will always remember hiking back to the river about a mile (or more) back in their timber. It was beautiful, with the big rocks, and the rapids.
She taught me how to milk a cow and how to make one of my (still) favorite dishes....fresh green beans, new potatoes, onions and bacon in the pressure cooker.
I vividly recall the milkhouse and Dwight giving all the barn cats a squirt or two of fresh out-of-the-cow milk.
She will be greatly missed.
