You volunteered your time to help coach softball to a lot of CRAZY high school girls...I was only lucky enough to be on your team for a couple years...but...you are proof that great people can make a lasting impact, even during such brief time periods :) You were a very genuine, kind, and funny person...I remember practicing in the grass one evening and I can't remember the exact situation...but someone was being difficult and you handled it perfectly...and I was thought to myself...Wow, I wish I could react to and handle things the way he does!...Probably a very forgettable moment for you as you were just being yourself...but for me, that moment represented one of the pivotal moments of my life when a person earned my respect and admiration :) Thank you :)

BETSY, I DONT KNOW WHY OR HOW BUT WHEN I READ THE OBITUARY I KNEW I HAD TO TELL YOU HOW MUCH SADNESS I FEEL FOR YOU NOW. I WANT YOU TO KNOW ALTHOUGH I DIDNT KNOW YOUR HUSBAND, JUST KNOWING YOU FROM THE MILL MAKES MY HEART ACHE FOR YOU.
