How can I ever thank you enough for being the best grandfather I could ever ask for? I only grew up with one, but you filled in for more than that. You were not only a role model for me, but a model on how I choose the people to surround myself with. I can't remember a single time that you ever let me down. Even for high school prom, when I was too shy to ask anyone to be my date, you showed up, ready with a corsage and to see me off. I doubt I could ever express how much those small gestures meant to me. You were always there, for everyone you loved, no matter how trivial the task was. But, you wouldn't hesitate to correct someone when they were disrespectful and for that, I'm am grateful. You helped mold, not just me, but my brother, cousins and many other family members into who they became. That was no easy task. But, you persevered and you succeeded. I hope that you are proud of the life you lived because I know that I am proud of you. I can only hope to emulate your integrity, determination and resilience in my own life. With love, forever and always, Your Granddaughter

May God be with your family at this difficult time. I am sure Sid was happy to welcome him to Heaven.
