PopPop Gil was an amazing man! I loved to spend time with him at the family get togethers. When we got ready to leave, I would always say to him "Glad you got to see me". He would chuckle. But the truth be known I was glad I got to spend the time with him. You will be missed.

Poppop Gil was an amazing man. He was always there to support me with my horses and he left a lot of wonderful memories that I will never forget and always cherish. When the girls were too young for school, we had lunch with Poppop Gil usually once a week at Hickory Dick's. There were days Gilbert would stop in & visit the whole day, stay for dinner and then venture to the garage with Mike. He always liked to know what was going on in our lives & with the girls, his great grand daughters. I miss your stories, laughter & that mischievous sparkle in your eye. I cherish all the memories.
