DONALD ORLO HANNIGAN, age 76 years, of Delta, Pennsylvania formerly of Dundalk, Maryland died on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Nancy (Springer) Hannigan.
Born on November 3, 1936 in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Charles W. and Janet M. (Chapman) Hannigan. A United States Navy veteran, Mr. Hannigan also served in the Air Force Reserves. He was a member of the American Legion Post #38 and the Loyal Order of the Moose #1228, both in Dundalk. He enjoyed all types of sports and excursions on cruise ships.

Gary T. Hannigan and his wife, Katherine of Sparrows Point, Maryland
Donna O. Bauer and her husband, Timothy
Mary K. Wolfkill and her husband, Brian
David C. Hannigan and his wife, Mary
Daniel W. Hannigan and Karen J. Byerley, all of Delta
Nineteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren in addition to numerous nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jerri Ann Hannigan.
Visitations will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2013 from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 6:30 p.m. followed immediately by the funeral service at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, Pennsylvania. Reverend James B. Shuler of Pine Grove Presbyterian Church, Airville will officiate.
Military honors will be presented by the United States Air Force Honor Guard at the conclusion of the funeral service.
Cremation will follow.
