Condolence: Remembered Joy
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free!
I follow the plan God laid for me.
I saw His face, I heard His call,
I took His hand and left it all...
I could not stay another day,
To love, to laugh, to work or play;
Tasks left undone must stay that way.
And if my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss...
Ah yes, these things I, too, shall miss.
My life's been full, I've savoured much:
Good times, good friends, a loved-one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief—
Don't shorten yours with undue grief.
Be not burdened with tears of sorrow,
Enjoy the sunshine of the morrow.

Condolence: Pop was like a grandfather to me ... I always enjoyed coming up to see him and the family. I have so many great memories of him ... I even remember on time Pop telling me to beat Darren up if he kept messing with me while we were camping up there. Haha .. he made me laugh. Seems like so many years ago .. yet seems just like yesterday. He will be greatly missed, and his memories will be greatly cherished.

Condolence: I worked with Don at Bethlehem Steel for several years. He loved bragging about his grandchildren. I loved hearing the stories. Don is the reason why we now live in our dream home here in Fawn Grove. For that we are thankful. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family whom he loved dearly.

Condolence: nancy..sister,im probably the last one to write in here,but i talk to you everyhight on thr phone.but i still have to tell you again how sorry i am for you losing the love of your life.i remember so well when you were just sixteen and started seeing don..oh he looked so handsome in the navy suit..remember i was only thirteen,and i kinda had a crush on him,then you flew to md to marry him.i was very angry with you cause you left me.and didnt take me with you.you had the perfect family.your family is so loving and carrying for each other.and they will always be there for you.something ive never had as you know.i am sorry about don as he was like a brother to me,he will always be in my heart and so will you and the family.and you will get better i kmow you are lost righr now but have faith and god and your friends will show you the way back.please nancy dont give up and i cant lose my sister to.love to you and the rest of the family.you are all in my prayers Elaine Springer Brown

Condolence: A loving man gone to soon. The only grandpa I ever had and ever will. The song "Remember When" played at his viewing and everytime I think of Pop now it's always a remember when moment. Remember when pop did this or when he did that. It's always a remember when. He'll be forever missed. Love you Pop-Pop

Condolence: I never know the right thing to stay, so I thought I would share one of my favorite poems. It seems to fit now...I will always remember the big willow's in pop's yard.

Weeping Willow with your tears running down,
Why do you always weep and frown,
Is it because he left you one day,
Is it because he could not stay,
On your branches he would swing,
Do you long for the happiness that they would bring,
He found shelter in your shade,
We thought his laughter would never fade,
Weeping willow stop your tears,
There is something to calm your fears,
You think death as if you forever part,
But I know he'll always be in your heart.

Condolence: I was so sorry to hear of the loss of Mr. Don. He always made me feel at home and part of the family. When we were younger, I loved when he laughed at us for some of the silly things we may have done. He was well loved and respected. I hope that the family finds peace and enjoys your memories with a wonderful man.

Condolence: To Nancy and your family and the so many friends that surround you I'm so sorry for your lose of a very good man. Don was a great husband, a great father, and a great friend to so many. He was indeed a very great man. He will be so sadly missed but will never be forgotten.
